Our June retreat takes us to Porto and the enchanting countryside of northern Portugal, a region where timeless traditions, natural beauty, and the simple pleasures of life come together.
Along the river, you'll discover colorful historic buildings, winding cobblestone streets, charming cafés, local artisans, beautiful architecture, and the warmth of Portuguese hospitality.
Beyond the city, we'll explore rolling vineyards, picturesque villages, historic estates, and the breathtaking landscapes of northern Portugal, where some of Portugal's most celebrated wines are born.
Summer brings long golden evenings, leisurely lunches, beautiful sunsets, and the freedom to enjoy each moment without rushing.
And at the end of each day, we'll return to our beautiful private retreat home to gather around the table, share stories over a wonderful meal, enjoy a glass of wine, and settle into the peaceful rhythm of summer in Portugal.

Our home for the week is Terra Rosa, a private country estate with seven suites, each with its own bathroom, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves near Ponte de Lima in northern Portugal.
A day in Porto, exploring the city’s old streets, tiles and riverside
A full day at a local winery, with tastings and a long lunch among the vines
A sunset boat ride on the river
A traditional azulejo tile-painting class
Learning to make Portugal’s famous pastéis de nata
Cultural experiences, long dinners and slow afternoons at the estate

Deposit required to hold your space: $850*
Remaining balance paid in 2 installments
*Deposit is refundable within 48 hours of booking; after that, it is transferable but non-refundable.

Who Is This For?
For women who have spent years looking after everyone else and are ready for a week that's all their own. If you love good food, good wine and good conversation, and want to see Portugal through the eyes of someone born there, you'll feel right at home. This isn't a yoga or fitness retreat: we walk at an easy pace each day, often on cobblestones and hills, so bring comfortable shoes. Coming on your own? Many women do, and with only eight of us you'll feel part of the table from the first evening.
